Ingredients
- 2 cups of yellow-eyed beans
- 3 tbsp of brown sugar (more if desired)
- 3 tbsp of molasses
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp of ginger
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp of ketchup OR 1 can of diced tomatoes
Step-by-step Instructions
- Soak beans overnight
- Rinse and cook for one hour or until tender
- Mix in all other ingredients with the beans
- Add water to cover the beans
- Cook on LOW in a slow cooker for 8 hours
